Karli is a population health & well-being scientist (re)defining the “we” in wellness as a collective endeavour: “Redefining the ‘we’ in wellness means recognizing that our well-being is shaped not just by personal choices, but by the systems, communities, and cultures we belong to.”

Karli has been translating research into public writing since 2019, first as a knowledge translation and research communications writer, where she interviewed faculty researchers and published across commodity magazines, institutional outlets and research news, and now across essays, commissioned long-form and multimedia for a global audience.
She authors peer-reviewed research, conference contributions, alongside multi-media essays for a lay public audience on topics related to public health, social justice, collective care, decolonization, mental health and workplace well-being.
